These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Linguver, including the website and mobile app. By using Linguver, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Linguver.

1. What Linguver is

Linguver is a vocabulary learning game. You can play your first 90 seconds free, with no account. With a free account, your 90-second time wallet refills every 12 hours. A Linguver Pro subscription removes that wait and provides unlimited playing time. The Android app works the same way. Creating an account is optional to begin, but signing in is required for the recurring free time, allows your progress to be saved and synced across devices, and is required to subscribe.

2. Your account

Sign-in is handled through Google. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to cheat, exploit bugs, or manipulate game scores or league rankings.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with Linguver.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy any part of Linguver's content or systems.
• Use Linguver in any way that violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

4. Intellectual property

All content in Linguver — including the game, design, vocabulary content, code, and brand — is owned by Linguver. Nothing in these Terms gives you any ownership rights. You may use Linguver for personal, non-commercial learning purposes only.

5. Ads

Linguver shows no advertising — neither on the website nor in the Android app.

6. Subscription

Linguver Pro is an optional paid subscription. On the web it is processed by Paddle; in the Android app it is processed by Google Play Billing. By subscribing:

• You authorise a charge on a recurring basis (monthly or as stated at purchase).
• Your subscription auto-renews unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• You can cancel at any time — web subscriptions from your account settings, and app subscriptions from the Google Play Store. Cancellation stops future charges; you retain access for the remainder of the paid period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods, except where required by law. Purchases made through Google Play are subject to Google Play's refund policy.

7. Disclaimer

Linguver is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that vocabulary content is perfectly accurate. Use Linguver as one tool among many for language learning.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Linguver is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Linguver after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Termination

You can stop using Linguver at any time. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. If we close a paid account without cause, we will refund any unused subscription time.
